Here at Rithm School, we have seen value in providing scholarships to highly motivated web development students. The practice of offering scholarships is not only a way to support learners working with tight budgets, but also a method of engaging and motivating nontraditional students of all backgrounds and experience levels who are interested in breaking into tech. We currently have 3 separate partial scholarships we are offering for our 2021 full-time courses.

Edie Windsor Scholarship

We are happy to be partnering with Lesbians Who Tech & Allies again this year to offer their Edie Windsor Scholarship of $12,000 to (2) students for the 2021 calendar year. This scholarship is named after LGBTQ and technology legend, Edie Windsor, to recognize her heroic victory over the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and to celebrate her technical leadership as a computer programming pioneer at IBM. In love and work, Edie Windsor is one of our greatest role models. We want to be a part of telling her story and helping inspire future generations of LGBTQ, technical women and non-binary individuals. Read more and apply here.

Important dates:

  • April 1 – May 1st :: Lesbians Who Tech & Allies reviews applications and selects winners.

  • June 1st – Dec 31 ::  Winners enroll in one of our full-time courses.

Covid-19 Relief Scholarship

For the remainder of our 2021 courses, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering (4) $6,000 scholarships for our students who wish to pay upfront rather than opt for our income share agreement. These four scholarships will be first come, first serve, and based on need and merit. Once you are accepted to our program, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Apply for our full-time course here

Need, Diversity & Merit Scholarship

Since we opened our doors in 2016, we have always offered a rolling partial scholarship based on diversity, need and merit. This scholarship covers up to $3,000 of your tuition costs and are awarded at the discretion of our leadership team. Once you are accepted to our program, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Apply for our full-time course here
