Rithm School and Coronavirus: What you need to know

Summary

Our campus has been closed since March 13, 2020. And in light of the increasing prevalence of the Omicron variant, we will continue to be closed until further notice. Based on recommendations and protocols established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local health departments in regard to COVID-19, we are taking the following steps to mitigate the risk to our community:

1. Our campus will be closed until further notice to all students. Our program will continue to be offered online.
2. Free events will continue to be held online for the time being. This is in order to ensure that we have better control over who has access to our physical space.
3. When we resume in-person instruction, students attending in-person must be vaccinated. All staff will be fully vaccinated by the time we reopen, and in order to ensure the health and safety of our community, we will require all students attending in person to be fully vaccinated as well.
4. We will continue to hold classes remotely. If you're interested in Rithm but don't live in the Bay Area, don't worry! We will continue to provide a fully online offering.

When will your campus be open again?

Given the rise of the Omicron variant, we have had to postpone our reopening plans. We will update this page with more information once we have it.

What precautions will you take to ensure the safety of your campus?

We will do everything we can to minimize the risk of illness once we resume in-person instruction. In particular, all staff will be fully vaccinated, and the campus will not be open to anyone other than staff and students enrolled in our full-time program. We will require anyone attending our in person program to show proof of vaccination. We will also provide hand sanitizer and take other reasonable precautions to minimize the risk of contracting or transmitting COVID-19.

What about free events?

Any free events we host for the larger community will be held online only until further notice.
